Complete early hand brake handle with intact boot, correct white plastic
rivet, bright shiny snap and correct nylon bushing.
Not refinished or dolled up.
Cable attachment hole unworn.

As a side note for those who care, this is actually a late-early handbrake. The plastic grip portion has finger indentations. The early-early handbrake grip was slightly shorter and smooth.

I dont agree with that. I have an original hand brake from one of the first cars to enter California. It has a grained handle. It is possible Porsche used both. I will check the lemght tomorrow.

Sorry, I stand corrected. Just went out to check my March 1970 -6 and it does have the finger indentations. Not sure what I was thinking. I did discover a slight variation though. The spring clip on mine broke so it wouldn't latch up. Bought a replacement rod from Garrold about a month ago. The rod and spring he sent me were about 1/4" longer than my original. It works just fine, just interesting about the difference.

Knew about that, someone had hacked it off for some reason. Garrold sent me the rod on a trial basis to see if it would work. I smoothed the end out with a file and there was still enough to disengage the pawl so I used it. It was the different length of the threaded end I found curious.
